NERALLT is a regional affiliate of IALLT, the International Association for Language Learning Technology. Our members are educators, administrators and technical support staff of spaces or initiatives in which technology enhances the teaching and learning of languages, literatures and cultures.

Although we serve the greater New England region, anyone is welcome to join this site and our organization.

The LLTI discussion list is a conversation nexus for information on language learning and technology, language lab technology, computer supported language learning, interactive video, interactive audio, language workstations, international standards, conversions, compatibilities, and more, all with an international perspective. Keynote: Samantha Earp, “What's Beyond the Horizon for Language Technology?”

Samantha Earp is head of academic technology at Harvard University. She has worked in higher ed for over 25 years in various roles, from student worker in a computer center to graduate research assistant, academic technology consultant, language center director, manager of instructional media services and head of academic technology. Samantha has taught at the community college, undergraduate and master's level in the U.S. and in France and she has also worked as a software developer and translator. Samantha has a B.A. in French from Berea College and an M.A. in French Linguistics from Indiana University, where she did further Ph.D. coursework in Instructional Systems Technology and French/Linguistics. Samantha is a fellow of the Frye Leadership Institute (2008).
