Elections

We have six elected positions in NERALLT:

President-Elect
Two years. According to the By-Laws, The President-Elect presides in the absence of the President and assists with meeting programs and Association business at the direction of the President and Board.
President
Two years. As noted in the By-Laws, The President presides at all meetings, conducts the business of the Association, and meets annually with the Board to discuss operational matters and plan for future advancement. The President also serves as liaison to the IALLT Regional Group Coordinator, and represents the region on the IALLT Council. The President assists the President-Elect through a smooth transition. 
Past President
Two years. According to the By-Laws, the immediate Past President is responsible for the election of officers and filling any vacancy by conducting a special election.
Secretary
Two years. The By-Laws state: The Secretary records and distributes minutes for the Association's business meetings and all Board meetings, and maintains the Association’s files and records.
Treasurer
Two years. The By-Laws state: The Treasurer oversees the financial affairs of the Association and prepares a financial report to be presented at the annual meetings.
Program Coordinator
Two years. The By-Laws state: The Program Coordinator oversees the planning of annual meetings and acts as a liaison with affiliate organizations.
